Bangladesh’s One-Day Internationals Will Feature Noor Ahmad

Sediqullah Atal, an uncapped top-order batsman, has been included in the 19-member squad for the forthcoming three-match ODI series against Bangladesh by the Afghanistan Cricket Board. Ibrahim Zadran and Mujeeb Rahman, the top-order batters, will be absent from the series due to their respective ailments, while Noor Ahmad also returns to the ODI setup.

Ibrahim recuperates from ankle surgery in England, while Mujeeb is still recovering from a right phalanx sprain. Ibrahim Zadran is presently in the rehabilitation process and is still recuperating from his recent surgery.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman is also unavailable as a result of his ongoing treatment. In a statement issued on Tuesday, ACB Chief Selector Ahmad Shah Sulimankhil announced that Noor Ahmad has returned to the squad and that a promising top-order batter, Sediqullah Atal, has been included. Atal has astonished everyone with his consistent top-tier performances.

The three One-Day Internationals are scheduled in Dubai on November 6, 9, and 11.
